The manufacturers of the Fastlane Door Detective (IDL) and Cryptag Census hands free identification products (Identec Ltd) have combined their products to provide a convenient yet secure solution for high traffic access control. The Cryptag Census product identifies individual tag holders and the direction they are moving through the portal. The Fastlane Door Detection ensures the direction and number of staff correlates. If there is an incompatibility an audible alarm can be generated, alternatively a CCTV camera can be activated. The access door can be controlled using an existing management system as the technology can be supplied to complement an existing installation where there is a need to provide greater convenience for a single staff group, or access location.
