TC1, TC2, TC4S Intrinsically Safe Tags

Tag types TC1, TC2 and TC4S are now available in intrinsically safe versions, these are model numbers TC1-IS, TC2-IS and TC4S-IS.

The equipment has been approved by type examination under the Equipment intended for use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Directive 94/9/EC Annex II (the ATEX directive). The essential Health & Safety Requirements have been assured by compliance to the following documents:

• EN50014:1997 (including amendments A1 to A2)
• EN50050:2002

Approved for use in the following environments:

• Zones 1 & 2 non mining;
• Gas, vapour or mist atmosphere;
• Ambient temperature +60°C.
