The Cyphertag RVR1(2-2) is a budget version of the RV1 reader. The RVR1(2-2) cannot be upgraded in the field it is limited to two aerials and two outputs. The two loop aerials can be configured to create a single detection zone, two independent zones or an "in" and "out" zone for direction sensing on a single portal.

The RVR1(1-1) base model provides a single loop and single output. This unit can be upgraded in the field by purchasing an additional AVR1 head-amp and reconfiguring the set up using an RVR1-KB reader editor unit.

The RVR1-KB can be used on any RVR1 reader. 

The RVR1(2-2) is fully configurable using the RVR1-KB. All reader parameters can be displayed and changed using the RVR1-KB.

All RVR1 readers provide Wiegand or Clock & Data, as well as Serial outputs. Advanced features include local alarm outputs, an optional counter display EDN1 can be used to provide a tag count.

TVP2 Performance test tags are recommended to ensure the integrity of the system is maintained at all times. Heartbeat outputs further enhance the integrity for safety registration solutions. For further details contact Identec Ltd.
