Cyphertag® tags can be simultaneously interrogated with no loss of fidelity. The RF communication between each tag and reader is scrambled to eliminate the chance of simulated tokens being used. Battery low indication is a standard feature.

Cyphertag's® patented technology offers many benefits to systems designers, integrators and end users. Not least of these is that the tags do not interfere with other electronic surveillance systems resulting in false alarms etc. The typical error rate for Cyphertag® is 1:100 million in worst case noise, this is significantly better than any other tag system. Cyphertag® tags can be supplied with a fixed one time programmed 16, 35 or 64 bit code. Strict factory audits ensure no two tags are issued with the same ID number.

The TV6 Cyphertag's® have a shelf life of 7 years or greater stored at 20°C. Operational life depends upon usage. However based upon 36 uses per day of 10 seconds each, or 6 minutes continuous interrogation per day, typical life at 20°C is 3 years or greater. All Cyphertag® product operates in the temperature range -20°C to +60°C.
